Vanilla Chai Waffles with Cinnamon Yogurt

With all the warm spices of a sweet chai latte, you can bring the cafe home to your kitchen with our vanilla chai waffles with cinnamon yogurt.

Servings: 4 x 4” waffles
Ingredients:
For the waffles:
- ⅔ cup otherworld Apple Cinnamon pancake & waffle mix
- 1/2 cup black tea, cooled
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp dried ground ginger or 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- pinch of black pepper
For the cinnamon yogurt:
- ¼ cup plain vegan yogurt
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1-2 tbsp plant milk, as needed
- 1 tsp cinnamon plus more for dusting
Directions:
For the waffles:
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl until just combined. Cook on a hot waffle iron for 4-5 minutes, or until waffles are crisp and easily release from the iron.
For the cinnamon yogurt:
- Combine the yogurt, maple syrup, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Stir in enough plant milk so the yogurt is pourable. Drizzle over waffles.
